My second design hero is Chris bourassa. Chris bourassa is the lead artist behind Darkest
Dungeon. Darkest Dungeon is another scary game but with a very different art style. While Jeff is all about chalk
desk drawings and cute small characters Chris bourassa is all great and gruesome. Heavily inspired by lovecraftian
horror and eldritch horror, Chris draws gross creatures that have rags hanging off of them and slime hanging off.
The game's story is about sending mercenaries into an old haunted castle to try and clear it evil and awful creatures.
I respect this art style because it has a huge amount of detail and such a distinct color pallet. The colors Black Red
and Brown are just so huge in the color but you can always tell what is going on. I hope one day to be this passionate
and detailed with character design. Simply amazing.
